Heart at work was a fun-filled night of art, technology and music brought together to raise funds for the Casey House Foundation. Casey House is a specialty hospice that provides home care and outreach programs for people living with HIV/AIDS in the community.

On Sunday, December 6, 2009 at the Gladstone Hotel, art lovers came together in support of a great cause and to bid on a variety of stunning work donated by various Toronto-based artists. These works were generously donated by Shauna Borne, Erwin Buck, Wendy Campbell, Kim Cullion, Laura Darling, Julie Gladstone, Danielle Hession, Braden Labonte, Beth Moutrey, Sarah Richardson, Brian Rideout, Jeff Tallon, Meghan Walsh and Vitali Zelinski.

Heart at work was hosted by Seanna Shoemaker and Jennifer Buchanan. Seanna and Jennifer are both seasoned newscasters who formerly worked for A Channel News.

There were also a number of fantastic gift items generously donated by Jack Astors, W Lifestyle, Zipcar, Ambiance Chocolat, Erin Tracy Designs, Chakman Chow, Lola by Design, Tibet Shoppe and the Art Gallery of Ontario.

The event also demonstrated state-of-the-art interactive technology, which allowed attendees to interact with their environment. One08 Interactive Digital Media's lead developer, Anthony Sapp, developed the application using the latest version of Adobe Flash software.

Maintaining a lively and atmospheric ambiance, DJ Jazzy Barfield provided soothing sounds from his Extra Dry sessions. Jazzy Barfield regularly spins at College Street Bar.

Thanks to all who came out for a great night in support of a great cause!
